About Weave

Short: Weave is a roguelike word game where you trace words through a grid of letters and every bend in your path multiplies the score.

Long: Players trace words up, down, left and right through a grid of letters called a loom. A word's base is the sum of its letter values; its multiplier is its length plus one for every 90° turn the trace takes, so a twisting path for a familiar word can outscore a rare one. A run is eight weaves with rising targets and six picks each. Miss a target and the run ends. Between weaves a shop sells modifiers that add base, add mult or multiply it, and each run is woven from one of seven pouches of words: everyday English, or one of six themed pouches that each bring a perk.
